One of the conditions for efficient heat transfer is the absence of traces of rust in the cooling system. In thermostats "BelMag" there is not a single element that could corrode. The body of the thermoelement is made of copper, all other parts are made of brass and stainless steel, and the body of the thermostat itself is made of an aluminum alloy of increased corrosion resistance.
Due to the use of modern materials, and the thermoelement is based on a synthetic thermophilic substance with the addition of copper powder, very accurate actuation of the thermostat valve to open at a given temperature of 85 ° C is achieved. And an advanced thermocouple bypass valve allows the thermostat to meter coolant into the large cooling circuit, ensuring a stable engine operating temperature in all conditions.
When assembling the thermostat, the two halves of the body are not simply pressed into an interference fit, as is traditionally done. "BelMag" decided not to rely on chance - in order to exclude the very possibility of "leakage", the connection is additionally tightly rolled up. After that, each thermostat is tested for tightness with compressed air.
