Applicability: Ford Focus 2 1.8-2.0L
Purpose: The resonator is used to preliminary reduce the noise level and balance the pulsations of the exhaust gas flow. Structurally, the resonator is a perforated tube placed in a metal case. To increase the efficiency of vibration damping, a throttle hole is made in the pipe.
Advantages: Installing this direct-flow resonator on a car gives an increase in power. It can be used to replace a failed standard resonator.
Material: steel 08 PS, used for the manufacture of high quality exhaust systems, powder coated.
Dimensions: Flow section 51 mm, wall thickness 1.5 mm, barrel diameter 100 mm
The item is intended for closed competitions, as well as tuning. You may need to replace the studs with longer ones.
Additional information: filling - basalt wool and basalt fabric (heat resistance 1200 gr.) to prevent cotton wool from blowing out.
