In motorsport and tuning, the engine is often subjected to refinement, increasing its power and torque. As a result, the correct operation of the engine with the standard gearbox range is disrupted, as the gears become unbalanced. The correct solution in this situation is to install a sports range that allows you to evenly distribute the torque to the selected speed range.
The sports series is a primary one-piece non-collapsible shaft, to which the torque is transmitted from the engine, and a collapsible secondary shaft, on which the driven gears are located. Typically, the sports series is supplied as a primary shaft and a set of secondary shaft gears. Among themselves, the series differ in both gear ratios and the number of modified gears. At the moment, there are several modifications of the sports series, which are selected so that the engine speed when switching is at maximum power, and the inclusion of the next gear was at the peak of the torque.
The converged R1 series is used to improve the acceleration dynamics by lengthening the 1st gear and bringing the 2, 3, 4, 5 gears closer together, so the engine is in the optimal (working) range due to a smaller drop in speed when changing gears. In addition, the load on the synchronizers (on the most fragile part of the gearbox) decreases, therefore, the resource of the gearbox increases.
Gear ratios:

- 2nd 28*27/19*20=1,989
- 3rd 28*21/19*24=1,289
- 4th straight=1
- 5th 28*20/19*38=0.776
